Well well well, you live in a place for 17 years and you start to think that you know it...until you find out that you don't : ( But that's good! I never knew there was a place called "Graffiti Alley" regardless of whether the name is official or unofficial. Not only that, I never knew about a little road called "Cliff Drive," which btw is its official name. The happy ending of the story is...
...that I got the opportunity to go shoot these places with a good buddy and had a lot of fun doing it. Now that I know how much I've missed out on, I've started a gallery called Street Shots. This gallery isn't intended to be just of Spokane or just of graffiti, it will be anything cool I feel like putting there. From Cliff Dr. I grabbed some incredible night shots of the city and put them in the Beautiful Spokane gallery, and we started experimenting with running around with flashes while the shutter is held open so maybe we will explore more there. |
